22nd Annual Southern Spring Tour. The Historic West Texas tour is limited to four and six-cylinder Chevrolets and GMC’s (1954 and earlier). It will take attendees through more than 300 miles of the Concho Valley Region of West Texas. Stops include Fort Concho, Fort Chadbourne, a bordello, a tunnel tour, the 130 year-old Aermotor Windmill Company, Indian Pictographs, a black smith shop, a rugs & saddle blanket manufacturer, a multi-building eclectic museum and the Mount Carmel Hermitage.
The host hotel is the Pearl on the Concho, 333 Rio Concho Drive, San Angelo, TX 76903. Call 325-653-4500 and mention Vintage Chevy to get our rate of $78/night plus taxes. Breakfast is included and there is ample trailer parking but no smoking or pets allowed. The tour is limited to 50 vehicles, so register early. The deadline is February 18, 2019. Registration fee is $145 per adult & $100 per child 12 and under.
