Ballet San Angelo is excited to welcome previous Artistic Director and a key leader in the SAPAC project, Meghann Bridgeman, back to San Angelo as guest choreographer of the 35th annual production of The Nutcracker! In its second year of return to its original home, this important San Angelo Christmas tradition will delight audiences of all ages.

Based on the traditional story, this Nutcracker will explore the components and connections of Clara’s real life Christmas party to her fanciful dreams later that night. Party guests will make appearances in her magical dreamscape in unique and unexpected forms, as she herself will transform into the beautiful Sugar Plum Fairy who, along with her Nutcracker Prince, rules this land of wonder. With new sets and costumes, this production will evoke the memories of Nutcrackers past and the traditions of Nutcracker attendance so many people of the Concho Valley remember so fondly.
