History and nature converge on the banks of O.C. Fisher Reservoir and the Concho River, near San Angelo. Ex­plore on land, play in the water, and enjoy a look at Texas’ past.

Entrance Fees

  • Adult: $4 Daily
  • Child 12 Years and Under: Free
  • Group - Adult: $2 Daily
7,788 acres on O.C. Fisher Lake. Over 50 miles of some of the best trails in the area. Home to a bison herd and the Texas State Longhorn herd. San Angelo State Park is also listed as having one of the "Best Birding Blinds" in the state, according to Texas Parks and Wildlife's website (https://tpwd.texas.gov/state-parks/san-angelo). From observation platforms to enclosed shelters and traditional birding blinds, SASP offers optimal perches to experience some of the best birding in Texas.
